Blizzard Will Optimize Mac Version of Diablo 3 for Apple Users
Blizzard Battle.net Forum issued a statement recently that the upcoming Mac OS X version of the Diablo 3 once the optimization and upgrading of key areas to improve the performance of low-end graphics cards such as GeForce 9400M.Blizzard said, Diablo 3 release, they have been paying close attention to player feedback, and confirmed the performance problems encountered by some low-end graphics card for Mac users, is currently developing an optimized upgrade package will greatly enhance the performance of GeForce 9400M.other cards though not great, but equally clear performance improvement.
Blizzard did not disclose the exact release date of this patch, but says it will soon release.
For the inadequate performance of Mac users, Blizzard also gives the following recommendations:
If your MacBook Pro has a dual graphics cards, such as the GeForce 9400M, GeForce 9600 GT, the system is set to higher performance, you can solve most problems.
The end of 2008 15-inch, 17-inch early in 2009, 2009, 15/17 inch MacBook Pro users, please refer to Apple's official Knowledge Base article to enhance graphics performance.
In 2010 or later 15-inch, 17-inch MacBook Pro users, please refer to the official Apple Knowledge Base article to enhance graphics performance.
Reboot, clean up the system memory, and then try to login.
Try to turn off the background process.
Increase system memory capacity.
Try these troubleshooting.
Blizzard also reminded that, ATI Radeon X1600, Intel GMA X3100 graphics card does not support the Diablo 3, do not strenuous.
PS: Yesterday Blizzard released the latest hot fixes, which resolved over 30 games and service-related crash problems, it recommended players to keep the latest version.
