While she is pleased with it I was looking for something that had more of a professional edge. If that is what you are looking for the NIIMBOT might be for you.I found it very easy to add custom graphics and make up whatever text I wanted. This clearly could be used and is designed to be used to label packages, put prices and barcodes on, etc. If you want to get really commercial with it you can subscribe to packages that will help you do that in the NIIMBOT app. I found it functioned well for me just at the free level for what I want it for and the app reminded me of vista prints software that will help you make sure things are aligned well, which I tried to grab in a screen capture. If you just want to use it for home and crafts you can do that or you can do both as they’ve made another app named NIIM that has more of a crafts and hobby feel.You can tell this unit is professional grade. It self centers the labels every time and verifies what is loaded in it. You can make adjustments, but I didn’t really have to. It also tells you what the paper labels qualities are, as you can see in my screen capture. If you watch their video on the company you can see that they started with industrial machine and have made this product as their new line, so it isn’t surprising it comes with very high end professional abilities and hits way above its weight class for this style of machine. The Bluetooth connection to my phone makes setup and printing much more simple than othre label makers I have used previously. Labels are a little pricey but the ease of use of the maker offsets the expense.

Hundreds of 300 dpi smear/water-proof thermal labels costs me less than a quarter each (w/ printer & 2 single rolls). Multi-packs of rolls can drastically reduce future costs. Android App:has some awkward/broken features; I can’t load/save designs. Art and fonts are listed in selection option to encourage upgrading to a monthly subscription. Build & Value:seems very solid. In-spite of the competitive market and shortcomings, it’s a good deal.
