My previous whole striploins weren't as tender as I'd like, and it's vital with chicken fried steak to get them nice and tender! this did a great job. It really tenderized the steaks, and it also helped me get the spices down into the meat rather of just the outside where they can more easily fall off. This worked way better than the old hammer style that I had before. Quality wise it truly seems decent. As long as you don't abuse it it'll last! I'm happy with it!

This thing is ridiculous, was cheap to buy, and I understand why, it's kind of a cheap product. don't take this the wrong way, let me explain. It was priced well, & works perfectly. In fact it works so well, it's a trail and error situation with your steaks. You need to learn and understand your meats. You can fully shred a huge chunk of meat and make amazingly soft steaks with this. However you can go to far easily, Not fault of the product though. Personally I love it. However it's made of kinda cheap plastic and not recommended for the dish washer, I ended up with water going through cracks in the plastic and took days for it to dry out.
