This window film has exceeded my expectations in every way.It's lovely, easy to install, high quality, well-priced, offers privacy, and I will certainly be buying it again. I can't recommend it enough!
The vinyl is quite thick and sturdy. The pattern is very pretty... almost too pretty for the mudroom sliding glass door I put it on. Light illuminates the gorgeous subtle colours in the flowers. I found cutting a straight line challenging as it was a very long cut and I didn't have a work surface to use a utility knife so had to use scissors. My cut is not perfect but not noticeable. It was easy enough to get onto the window but be careful as there is a "up" side. I had to flip the pattern to right side up and in doing the static cling picked up bits of dirt that I had to brush off as I applied it to the window. Not sure how the very top is sticking. There seems to be a tiny gap along the seam. I think it is a great product and an inexpensive and pretty fix for a failed window.
Impressed with this product.Looks really good. Love the flower pattern. It takes a bit of patience to measure, cut, peel back the protective layer and stick on the glass. But it was worth it.
INSTALLING: I used a tape measure to measure the length needed and then an X-acto utility knife or box cutter to cut the film down to rough size. Then cut off small strips around the edges as needed once the film was on. make sure to use a good amount of water spray from a spray bottle of a very wet rag. I also did not have large squeegee so used a small folded dry kitchen towel to push on and squeeze out as much water as I could once the film was on. Use even firm pressure, push down and outwards towards the edge to get the water out. Then use the dry kitchen towel to mop up the water as it comes out and starts to drip. Overall it looks good.I could have done a bit better cutting off the extras around the edges for a better fit. But no one will notice it unless I point it out to them.
PRIVACY: As far as privacy goes, very happy with it. Can't see through it from the outside unless you stick your face up close to the glass and even then all you see are faint blurs if someone is standing right next to the glass on the inside of the house. Otherwise no one can see in and make out what is behind the glass with this film on. At night if lights are on on the inside of the house it only allows a very dim glow / light to be seen from the outside.
THOUGHTS: Allows a nice prism multicolored pattern when the sun shines on it from the outside. Lightens up the house and makes us smile when we look at it. Looks as if it came manufactured with the glass instead of being put on afterwards.Really happy with how it turned out for the first time trying this type of product.

This window film is good quality and thick compared to others I've purchased. Sheer enough that I can somewhat see through and let all the light in, but also provides adequate privacy. As of the clear background, cut marks are more forgivable then other patterned window film. My windows were cold when applying and the edges were having a hard time sticking. I used a blow dryer when the film was on the window to warm things up and it stuck with no problem after that. So if you find when applying to your windows it's not adhering at the edges, use a blow dryer to warm it up. Worked like a charm!
